About
Let me introduce myself! I am LoriAnn Bouchard, an Artist/Jewelry Designer who resides with my husband and children in beautiful Connecticut, USA. My goal is to let my art reveal the innate beauty that is possessed by every woman and to have their eyes turned to awareness of that beauty. By mixing old, and sometimes ancient, techniques with new innovations, I am able to express the diversity and complexity of woman and reflect that uniqueness in my pieces. How did this all begin? Well,.....a few years ago, I discovered how to make tiny sculpted roses using a "clay" mixture of white bread and Elmer's glue! From there, I discovered polymer clay, which was a much better medium for these. This led to a desire/need to make these roses into beautiful pieces of wearable art. So...my journey into jewelry design began! I have since incorporated more skilled techniques into my repertoire of design ....wirework, both freeform and chain weaving, metalsmithing, wire filigree, glass bead lampwork, glass kiln forming and fusing, Precious metal Clay sculpture, with more to learn each day! |

Artist Statement
"May you become as the waves of one sea, stars of the same heaven, fruits adorning the same tree, roses of one garden..." –Abdu’l-Baha’
We, as women, are each as a perfect rose in the garden. Each is its own miracle; unique and undeniably perfect.
Beauty is internal, non-cultural, and timeless. Beauty is woman.
Allow your outward expressions to mirror your spirituality and your true self. Be aware of the strength in the ancientness of Woman, while also showing pride in the accomplishments and stature of Woman in the modern world.
Be your own rose in the garden.
Be Beautiful.
Much of my inspiration comes from my faith and spiritual beliefs. I am a Baha'i and draw from my faith to find ways to inspire all women to be as beautiful as they really are.

I have just recently added all natural lip balms and goat's milk soaps to my repertoir!
French Kisses Lip Balms are made in collaboration with Nicole Cyr here in South Windsor, CT. Together we make a great team and are working hard to bring the highest quality balms in the coolest of flavors. Our new bases are all Vegan friendly and amazing for your lips. As we have put our hearts into this endeavor, the new balms come from our hearts to your lips!
Roses of One Garden Goat's Milk Soaps are a growing work in process. Part of my reasoning for venturing down this line was to not only have personal access to amazing all natural, great for my skin, soaps, but to be able to bring these soaps to my clients, as well as to help other women in the process. All of my ingredients and bases come from other small businesses that are owned and run by women. Whenever possible, I will begin my soaps with a base made with fresh goat's milk and only the highest quality all natural ingredients. These bases will then be rebatched using more goat's milk and only high quality essential oils (NEVER artificial frangrances or colors) and then recured to end up the creamiest and lather-rich soaps possible.
